Aufgrund der hohen Nachfrage stellt das neue Unternehmen Oprema Jena auf der Crowdfunding Plattform Indiegogo ein neues Objektivprojekt vor: Das Biotar 58mm 1:2.0.

Endet die Kampagne erfogreich, wird das Objektiv etwa ab Herbst 2018 an die Unterstützer ausgeliefert, erst danach wird es bei ausgewählten Fachhändlern für 1.999€ verfügbar sein.

Das besondere am Biotar 58/f2.0 ist, dass es über 17 Blendenlamellen verfügt und sich damit an der Konstruktion des allerersten Biotar orientiert. Laut Oprema Jena gibt es aktuell keine ähnliche Optik, die mit der Neukonstruktion des Biotar 58 vergleichbar wäre.
