Der Hof Laufás am Eyjafjörður -z.T. erbaut aus Torf und Grassonden- in der Nähe von der Landgemeinde Grýtubakki; ca. 30 km nördlich von Akureyri. Diese Torfhäuser wurden etwa 1850 erbaut und sind inzwischen ein im Sommer geöffnetes Museum.
