Panasonic stellt heute die Lumix GX80 als neuestes Mitglied der Micro Four Thirds Kamera-Familie vor. Wie das aktuelle Topmodell Lumix GX8 hat sie den Formfaktor einer Messucherkamera mit seitlich angeordneten elektronischen Sucher. Man kann sie als Lumix GX8 light interpretieren, eine Neuerung hat sie aber dem großen Schwestermodell voraus.

Die Lumix GX80 kommt im Mai auf den Markt, ein Preis steht noch nicht fest. Die unverbindliche Preisempfehlung beträgt 699 € für das Kameragehäuse.

Lumix GX80 = GX8 light?

Aufgrund des Namens liegt der Vergleich zur Lumix GX8 nahe. Gegenüber dem höherwertigen Modell verzichtet die Lumix GX80 auf einige Features, z.B.

  • Sensor mit 16 statt 20 MP Auflösung
  • Verzicht auf den klappbaren Sucher

An anderer Stelle präsentiert sich die Lumix GX80 aber auf der Höhe der Technik und hat sogar an einigen Punkten die Nase vor der großen Schwester.

  • Neuer leiser Verschluss mit elektromagnetischem Antrieb
  • DFD-Hybrid-Kontrast-Autofokus mit Schärfedifferenzberechnung (wie aus Lumix GH4, G70 und GX8 bekannt)
  • Dual-IS Bildstabilisierung kombiniert optische Stabilisierung im Objektiv mit Sensorstabilisierung in der Kamera – wie bislang nur in der Lumix GX8

Lumix GX8 4k Video/ 4k Foto / Post Fokus

Die 4k Fähigkeit der GX80 nutzt Panasonic, um der Kamera einige praktische Funktionen zu spendieren:

  • Im 4k Foto-Modus kann der Fotograf nach der Aufnahme ein 8MP Bild aus einer Serie wählen, um die optimalen Aufnahmezeitpunkte zu treffen
  • Mittels Post Fokus lässt sich nachträglich der perfekte Fokus festlegen: Die Kamera nimmt eine Reihe von Bildern mit verschiedenen Schärfeebenen auf, aus denen nachträglich mit Klick auf das gewünschte Motiv scharfgestellt wird.

Lumix GX80 Dual-IS

Highlight der Kamera ist die Bildstabilisierung per Dual-IS, die mit den entsprechenden Objektiven das Bild sowohl in der Optik als auch innerhalb der Kamera über die Bewegung des Sensors ausgleicht.

Positionierung der Lumix GX80

Offensichtlich will Panasonic mit der Lumix GX80 auch Kunden ansprechen, denen die GX8 etwas zu teuer ist. Auf das hochwertige Gehäuse, den schwenkbaren Sucher und einige MP Auflösung lässt sich gut verzichten, wenn der Preis dementsprechend günstiger ausfällt.
